Conversion to LED lighting brings the group of medium-cost savings of more than 280,000 € per year and reduce CO2 emissions
Ritterhude / Hamburg, 21 July 2011 - Compared to 2010 medium-sized companies pay about 14 percent more in electricity costs, according to a recent study by the National Association of Energy Consumers. This trend will also continue to increase in the future through the green levy. During the year, some 22,000 existing lamps with LED lamps in standard lengths of 60, 120 and 150 centimeters to be replaced. Thus the power consumption is reduced in the future of 3.61 million kilowatt hours to $ 1.25 million kilowatt hours per year. This represents a reduction of energy costs by around 280,000 € and reduced CO2 emissions by about 1360 tons annually. The average lifespan of around 100,000 hours of Centum tubes also reduces the change and maintenance costs.
